Lollapalooza celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, having been conceived in 1991. The inaugural show was held in Chicago’s historic Grant Park, and continues to be to this day. This year (2011), the first international Lollapalooza show was held in Santiago, Chile. With globalizing the brand seeming to be the idea here, who ever it is that runs the festival has decided to add the beautiful nation of Brazil to the tab next year as well. With the World Cup also heading down south to the land of joga bonito, this South American colossus is looking like a pretty sweet place. Either way, I’m just saying, it would be pretty dope to see the kind of show Lollapalooza is capable of  in such a marvelous nation as Brazil.
