Those of us residing on the East Coast who were recently “rocked” by the 5.9 earthquake that struck the DMV area Tuesday may not be out of the woods yet.
Hurricane Irene, which is currently ravaging the Bahamas highlighted by 125 mph winds and a category 3 epicenter could hit the Northeast United States as early as Saturday. It is only a mere 30 miles off the coast of New York City, so it looks as if the East Coast is in for yet another natural disaster this week.
What originated as a semi-slow storm has seemingly gathered substantial strength, as well as speed as it approaches the coastline. Be safe everyone. Cheers.
